Welcome to Middleton Railway Museum!

Welcome to the Middleton Railway Museum in Middleton, Nova Scotia. We are pleased to bring you a virtual taste of what our extensive Dominion Atlantic Railway collection in our museum is all about.

From the exhibits in our museum to our support DAR DPI site, you won’t find a more complete reference and experience of what the Dominion Atlantic Railway was, and the influence that it still holds today for Nova Scotia.

Please, feel free to wander and experience the D.A.R. and bygone days of railroading through our site and museum. Plan a visit soon! We’ll be ready and waiting to serve you up some home-town hospitality as you browse through our extensive collection in the museum.

The show will go on! Yes, we have decided that the Trouble on T’ Tracks Dinner Theatre will proceed today as planned. See you there.

Due to severe weather and road conditions, we are not open today for our Heritage Day open house. Please be safe if you have to go anywhere. 

Season Hours
Hi everyone, Our hours for this year will be as follows
Open Houses on Holiday weekends:
Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Mondays from 11 am through 4 pm.
Our season will open on June 1st and close on September 1. Regular hours are from 10 to 5 on Wednesdays through Sundays.
We are now closed for the season, unless posted. Thank you and have an amazing winter!

Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted.
